Why Is Only Half Of Your Project Showing On Easel Cnc Software

Cnc Easel Linux I set up a project and have a blue line box that is partially in my workpiece and partially outside my workpiece. my preview looks fine, but when i simulate the tool paths it only simulates the area of the blue box that sits halfway into my workpiece. This will show you why only half of your project is showing up on easel.
Cnc Talk Easel Cnc Just a heads up, the project isn’t shared correctly. it needs to be set to “unlisted” for that link to work for anyone other than the original creator logged into the account it was created with…. For example i am cutting out a oval ish frame that is supposed to be 2 inches wide all around however one side of the circle is the said 2” while the other half is about a quarter inch thinner and has a ramping cut on it. If thinner parts of the design were either not cut or were skipped entirely, you'll need to check your bit. easel will only carve the parts of the design that are reachable by the current bit. if the bit is too large, the area will not show up in the detailed preview and will not be carved. Helps diagnose and fix software, connection, or carving issues to keep your easel projects running smoothly.

The red lines show the movement of the spindle between sections, and the blue lines indicate the passes carving out your material. select "hide material" to see a clearer visualization of your project's toolpaths. As you’re working, keep an eye on the 3d view on the right side of your easel screen. any areas of your design that do not show up in the preview pane will not be carved. By saving each phase of your project in a separate workpiece, there's no need to jump between multiple easel projects. the pop up menu at the bottom of easel allows you to quickly and easily maneuver between all the different workpieces for your project. The default safety height may be too high for your project. it will try to go up and hit the z limit switch and stop everything. you can fix this by lowering the safety height in easel from its default of 3.81 mm to what will work for your project. i believe the setting is under machine > machine settings.
