Why Do This Model Textures Not Export Finally Solved Pro I’m kind of stunned that you have all those faces reversed in your model. this has been covered in your other threads already. the different face orientations are causing the problem. For an upcoming graphics assignment i'm trying to export this model from maya into a format usable in my program (obj, collada, fbx are all fine). i can export the mesh perfectly, but i'm having trouble exporting the texture images with it.

Why Do This Model Textures Not Export Finally Solved Pro In this tutorial, we will guide you through the process of fixing texture problems when exporting 3d models, ensuring a seamless workflow and preserving the visual appeal of your creations. Fbx files only support principled shaders on exported objects. there’s a way to pack textures into the fbx. i haven’t figured that out. the textures need to be saved to the asset folder for unity to import. you’ll need to setup your materials in unity. When you export the file to fbx there are different options to set a path for the image texture folder, a good way to do this is to put both the file and the image texture folder into a “project” folder and set the path to “relative”. When you model, especially for export to other applications, it is important that all the visible parts of your model show only the front sides of the faces, and that you “apply paint” to only the front sides.

I'm having an issue with this model i've baked all maps in substance, and the maps are looking fine in the texture set list, but when i export i only get blank image files with no details at all. When i am exporting 3d models, the textures are broken when saving e.g. 3d tiles or .obj files. i have tried both to export the models as regular export, and by exporting lod, with the same result. Creating the designs is a work in progress, however where i run into issues is when i attempt to export a design item. the exported file only comes through as a wireframe and i lose all added textures. Finally, with no apparent explanation, all textures exported over and i was able to upload my model to sketchfab successfully. i greatly appreciate your help with this, i learned a thing or two.
