My biggest issue, and one i really hope there’s a fix for when i go ‘view > render viewport animation’, i get a flat grey render. that seems to be a known limitation. (“viewport rendering only works for the workbench and eevee render engines. it’s not supported for cycles.”).

Viewport Flickering Issues Lighting And Rendering Blender Artists This appears, flickers randomly in any viewport primary or secondary, regardless of map loaded or props camera present. it is dropping frames and making sfm pretty much unuseable. Our current workaround is to not 'zoom into' the object far enough that any of its vertices go outside the bounds of the window. when the vertices stay within the window, the animation does not flicker. I have a problem in blender 4.0, where when i animate a camera to move, everything in the render (eevee) gets smoother and also shadows and meshes start to flicker (and also lights appear out of the blue). I keep having this issue with my viewport flickering, especially with objects in the scene. i have noticed this happens the most with fbx models using morph targets. you can see in the video, but at certain camera angles and distances, the models flicker.

Viewport Flickering Issues Lighting And Rendering Blender Artists I have a problem in blender 4.0, where when i animate a camera to move, everything in the render (eevee) gets smoother and also shadows and meshes start to flicker (and also lights appear out of the blue). I keep having this issue with my viewport flickering, especially with objects in the scene. i have noticed this happens the most with fbx models using morph targets. you can see in the video, but at certain camera angles and distances, the models flicker. While working on an animation scene, i’m experiencing a strange issue where a light source suddenly flickers or “bursts” very brightly for a moment, both in the viewport (rendered mode) and in the final render output. No difference using different files, rebooting doesn’t fix the issue. any ideas? a bunch of flickering going on here and there. both in 2.9 and the newer 2.90.1. doesn’t matter if i’m using eevee or cycles workstation: 2020 5k imac, 3.6 ghz, 10 core intel i9. amd radeon pro 5700 xt 16gb no …. My clouds are not smoothly getting darker and brighter like it was in rendered viewport shading. instead, they are changing their brightness very quickly and not smooth at all. We are working to reproduce the problem on our side. looks like disabling many lights fixes the main flickering problem. we believe we know what the issue is and will have that fixed soon. in the mean time, you can disable that.
