The way you describe the noise is exactly what my vibe was doing. it was a wheel bearing. i replaced them both and am now back to smooth cruising. 2003 vibe base frosty white mono total loss 1 23 2006 vibe awd lava red mono loaded w leather and sport pkg 150k mi 2006 vibe base stealth gray mono loaded w leather 180k mi.

Vibe Help! 2004 vibe won't start. it's not the starter or starter relay. not the battery or cables or connections. when i turn the key, all power comes on, but when the key is turned past the "on" position towards the "start" position, there is a single, almost metallic click from the glove box area and the power goes off on the radio and cigarette lighter power port. a friend told me he would. I'm using my daily 03 vibe base (130k miles) to learn more about working on cars. recently i purchased a used valve cover from a wrecked vibe. it looks like it is in good condition. i am replacing the pcv valve, valve cover, gasket ( 2 grommets), and have gasket maker for the part between the cams and timing chain. i already replaced spark plugs at 120k miles. my question is do i need to oil. My first vibe by ornjxvybe » sun may 04, 2025 5:52 am recently i purchased an 04 vibe base (1zz fe). this is my first car and i don't have much experience working on cars so apologies if i am a tad slow on these things. i have been doing some research on my car ever since i got it about 3 days ago now. Well vibe lovers, this story has come to a conclusion. it took a lot of work on the car to figure out what it was but it was a bad front oxygen sensor. i have no idea why because the code was p0138 which is the code for the rear sensor but after much gnashing of teeth it has been solved and i hope this helps other people with this issue out there. Vibe 2009 just started to slowly idle worse and worse. ignition plugs changed, spark plugs changed, throttle body cleaned, mfs changed, and diagnostic done by dealer.
