Now i don't think that unity deserves a 30% cut on the asset store. but i think it's wrong to say that hosting & serving data is cheap, especially for service providers (like the aforementioned valve, who do host their own data servers, and offer relayed multiplayer through their backend). I have refunded several assets from the asset store. contact the developer of the asset directly, not unity support. if they are nice people, they will refund you asap no problem.

An asset that i purchased has been removed from the asset store. how and where can i download it now? if an asset is deprecated and you already purchased it, you can still download it. if an asset is removed because it was illegal, expecting unity to continue hosting illegal assets for you is ridiculous.
