Unmc Program Mentors North Omaha Teens Newsroom University Of Propath partners with the university of nebraska medical center (unmc) to offer a master’s degree program in diagnostic cytology. students in the program will receive training in the assessment of cytopathologic changes within the human body. Nebraska medicine and the university of nebraska medical center opened a hub wednesday aimed at connecting north omaha with health resources. The 170,000 square foot structure was developed by koelbel & co. and greenslate development. in addition to the unmc innovation hub within the facility, it will include 130,000 square feet for businesses, a food hall, beer taproom, restaurant and more. The district, located west of unmc’s main campus, is designed to foster collaboration, attract new businesses, and stimulate economic development within nebraska, while also creating a dynamic, forward thinking community for students, researchers and the public.
