Disable antivirus software and try to save the file. if this works, you may need to add an exception for dwg files into your antivirus software. use the qsave command to save the file. does it save correctly? check whether there is a lag time between autocad and the server. as a test, save the file locally to your c:\ drive.

I have been updating older files on our server. open the file, make a change or 2, then close, say yes to save changes, and get the error message i've attached.
