The thing is, literally every single gaming community thinks that theirs is the most toxic. wow thinks they’re the most toxic, overwatch thinks they’re the most toxic, lol and dota both think they’re the most toxic, etc. etc. so when you see someone say, “our community is really toxic,” it’s like hearing them say water is wet. Going in blind (without reading the 18 manga it's based on), the premise at least checks the 🚩🚩🚩 for 'toxic': a struggling eromanga artist, yoh, agrees to a 'contractual slave' arrangement with segasaki, a handsome meteorologist who was his senpai in college. from the first ep, segasaki is shown to be curt, inscrutable, and possessive towards yoh, a stark contrast to his 'pleasant. I play overwatch quite a bit so i've dealt with toxic people before. i knew league players had a stereotype of being toxic, but my god. it's just a game and i don't see why people are so heated over it. i like the game a lot, and will exclusively play unranked modes now where the people are nicer, but why are people so toxic in ranked?. Insanely toxic from day 1, 30,000 people billion dollar retail good then bored then beyond toxic, 20,000 person software place ok bored whatever, $2 billion stupid startup holy crap i'm happy where i work now, makes billions? never bothered to look at head count. this is the best job i've had.
