The Router Bits Arrived Router Forums I ordered 24 1 16" two flute router bits with a 1 4" shank from amazon . they just arrived. now to get out to the shop and test them out on some materials!. I’m looking to get a respectable collection of router bits. something that has straight, joinery, trim, etc. that would allow me to do most projects….
The Router Bits Arrived Router Forums I have a lot of good expensive router bits, but could not resist what appears to be the same box of bits that canadianchips has. i use them every now and then and they seem to cut just fine. Bearing maintenance will help any bit last longer. once in a while put a drop of good quality thin oil on the bearing and let it soak in a minute, then wipe off the excess. Ordered some new bits the other day from dave and eric and was pretty excited when they arrived today. shipping was pretty fast. 2 day priority mail. from arizona to here in west virginia. was pretty tickled to hear dave's voice on the phone when i called to confirm my order. Though i'm no expert, i've spent quite a few hours at the router table over the years and i've never broken a bit before. fortunately, the piece that snapped off was trapped in the dado on the underside of the board so it didn't go airborne. Then at the end of the day ups finally showed up with my new dewalt dwp611 router. now all i have to do is get up tomorrow and cut a hole to modify my router, mount my new base plate and test everything out on some new signs. G`day fellas, about a year ago we ordered some whiteside router bits from routerbits . they gave us excellent service and we received the bits in about 6 days, delivered from the usa to adelaide, australia. Looking to replace my router bits which were stolen several months ago. just ordered a new router and now need new bits but want something that will last and still do the job without spending a lot of money.
