Solved The Problem With The Component Library The Inventor 2018 Please make sure you have 4.6 installed for 2018. the behavior you are describing sounds like some critical components were missing, preventing inventor from running correctly. When creating assemblies, i only use parts i make, which are out of the inventor files (.ipt). my main problem is, even if i make all of my pieces in my computer, not deleting any of them, i still come up with the aforementioned unresolved components error.

I have now an error when i try to insert parts from content center, reciveing a message error "unable to create component”. i never had this problem until a few days ago. Issue: when placing a component from a custom library in content center the users get the following "unable to create component". Solution: to resolve the assembly (temporary solution). right click on the main assembly in the model browser. select resolve files. follow the steps from the inventor to show the file localization.

Solved: as the title suggests. i have put a number of assemblies into drawing views and yet despite showing the parts in the preview they disappear. Content center libraries are shown empty, blank, or only some standard norms are missing in inventor. when checking content center libraries linked to project file it shows "not available" for some content center libraries. Review the introductory page of the update tool guide, then click next. in the libraries to migrate list, select the libraries you need to migrate and click next. components will become available in the library, and the yellow 'unexpected result' icon next to it will disappear. We have recently updated some pc's with the latest windows 10 version 1903 updates and found that it causes inventor 2018 to crash everytime you try to place a component from the content center.
