Simulation Bug Autodesk Community I was not able to reproduce the issue on my side (inventor 2012 win7 x64) i opened the attached model and ran the simulation and the simulation completed successfully. Simulation issue, is it a bug, feature request or me? i have used the attached file to test the event simulation function and have come up against a serious problem.
Solved Simulation Bug Autodesk Community Solver is not able to handle it. i removed that face and after that split it in order to apply force on the outer area of the new face. the model was calculated without any error and the computation time is now very reduced. also, i think we don't need separation contact between plate and load cell. It remembers its state, but the tool paths are on no matter what when you open the simulation. if a checkbox for toolpaths is false and toolpaths are still on, (as you can see in the original screen shot) then something isn’t working correctly. By default, adaptive mesh refinement is enabled. this means that the simulation will be solved, re meshed, and solved again to check to see if the results are converging. open the simulation settings. disable adaptive mesh refinement. Issue: during a simulation solve, the solver stops and an error message appears in cfd: solver the analysis has stopped because the solver has exited unexpectedly. please consult the discussion forum by clicking the discussion forum button from the community tab. Check the autodesk health dashboard for a list of related service outages or degradation statuses. note: if there is an outage while a simulation is running and the issue persists after the outage has been resolved, run a reset of fusion 360 using the service utility to clear the cache.
