Revit is a multi part installer, so you should have several installer files downloaded. fortunately, this is easily solvable as it's not uncommon for web browsers to block pop ups multiple downloads. i'd recommend disabling this setting on your web browser please see the links below for how to do this for the most common browsers: chrome edge.

The file can be saved under a new name but then the error message from above appears again when attempting to do a standard save. i can save it back to the original file name and it creates a backup as normal. Recently, we’ve seen reports of revit 2017 and 2018 files failing to open or sync with “too many missing elements”. this can be avoided by installing the latest updates to 2017 and 2018 (2017.2.3 and 2018.2 respectively). I installed revit 2021 from the autodesk website. getting the following message when i start the software. "missing scheam folder: c:\program files\common files\autodesk shared\revit schemas 2021. repair your installation or contact autodesk support" can someone assist?. Issue: after saving some files, they are not appearing in the recent files area on the home screen in revit. other saved models are displayed properly.
