Dimension Issues Autodesk Community Perhaps the graphics were drawn to a dimension of 1.5", then someone decided that the correct dimension should be 2", but rather than redraw the graphics correctly, the dimension value was overridden. Your workflow is the reason, your dimensions are associative most likely and you are literally just fighting the program over and over again all the time: you will need to reassociate those dimensions with their new destination objects with dimreassociate command.
