Smoke Simulation By Realwusang An interactive playground, demonstrating the basic concepts behind a jos stam fluid simulation. users can generate and swirl smoke manually or place attractors and repulsers to move the fluid automatically. Instead of injecting smoke at three points, we continuously inject a ball of smoke near the floor. as in the first video, the rise of smoke is both smooth and symmetric.

This project is based on the paper visual simulation of smoke and the 2007 siggraph fluid course notes and also some of aline normoyle ’s fluid simulation tutorial. This project showcases my experiments in simulating smoke effects using both javascript and python. the project utilizes and extends two open source libraries to demonstrate smoke generation in various contexts, including interactive demos, image augmentation, and video processing.

Smoke Simulation By Realwusang This project is based on the paper visual simulation of smoke and the 2007 siggraph fluid course notes and also some of aline normoyle ’s fluid simulation tutorial. This project showcases my experiments in simulating smoke effects using both javascript and python. the project utilizes and extends two open source libraries to demonstrate smoke generation in various contexts, including interactive demos, image augmentation, and video processing. Click on the following images to download the videos. this simulation took less than half an hour on an amd athlon 1.4 ghz with a grid size of 60x60x40. We created a smoke simulator using the three.js framework and webgl. the simulator itself models a fluild system with zero viscosity based on the navier stokes equations. the user can then insert color, density, and temperature quantities (the "smoke") that applies buoyant forces to the fluid. I extended the project to include multithreading, rk4 integration, better support for extremely large simulation grids, and added a volumetric renderer with a pseudo blackbody lighting system. View an animated visualization of wildfire smoke dispersion over time. this screen displays a separate map along with controls. each added wildfire spot is shown as an expanding circle whose radius is computed using the formula: the simulation time increases based on the actual elapsed time.
