Rigging Problems Ask Gamedev Tv Most simple solution is to merge (join) the extra object into the orc mesh. unfortunately the joining didn’t work, i had to separately parent the extra objects. however, if i wanted the sword and scabbard to hang and bounce realistically, would i have to create a separate bone for the sword?. How many bones are maximum in the skeleton and in the face for the character (if we are doing the rigging)? how many bones are maximum affecting each vertex when skinning? my plan is to ask for their recommendations for each, since they have a good understanding of the game we're building.

Hi people! i’m struggling with rigging…at first my mesh wouldn’t move at all, then i found that the parent type for the armature was blank. i set it to armature. then the mesh started to move with it. however, a lot of vertices are left behind it causes the mesh to stretch like crazy. I just finished the course and i very happy with everything i’ve learned. so here is my final. i have had a problem with the pose mode and i don’t understand why this happens, every time i switch to edit mode, the hair,….
