I'm sorry, but it's a terrible plan. it's high risk, high effort, and low reward, which is the opposite of what you want. feel free to keep progressing as a referee and see how far you can get, but go to a college or vocational school and get a more desirable skill. an average computer science new graduate makes $100k, comparable to a top pro.
