Previous Mods Break The Modmanager Issue 16 Timberborn Modding After troubleshooting a bit, i found that mods installed from thunderstore include a file called "manifest.json" rather than "mod.json" in their bedinex folder. The only real issue with doing it this way is that as each of the mods you're using update, they can require the newer game version which means you'll be back to crashes.

Currently the updater is enabling updated mods, but the updater doesn't always show the mods that are going to be updated. right now, i have 8 updates available but i don't know which one. As others said, this is because of the update from yesterday. it was related to something that all buildings have, but most building mods are now updated including ladder, staircase, vps, path extensions and more platforms. should be good to go again!. The reason for this is that i've had plenty of occasions where the mod manager removed the old mod but failed to fully download the updated mod, leaving only a skeleton mod that is recognised during boot of the game but causes it to crash when attempting to play because it's missing key data files. It's probably the mod manager downloading the wrong versions of mods. wipe all your mods and redo bepinex and then place the mods you want (and their dependencies) unzipped into the mods folder. it's really simple and there are a few tutorials around for doing it manually.
