The 992 was rated in 2022 as the most reliable single car out there: the porsche 911 is the highest ranked model for trouble free ownership in the j.d. power 2022 u.s. vehicle dependability study (vds), released today. announcement here i purchased my base 992 in february 2021 and i put over 30,000 miles on it in a little under 2 1 2 years. R porsche: a place for porsche owners and enthusiasts.which is the most recent manual 911 do you guys think that is still the most "raw" to drive from a drivers perspective, feeling wise? that you feel more of the road and the car? is it the 997.2? don't care about track time performance, only drivers feel experience. thank you guys!. Porsche cayenne, 100k miles. is it a bargain or a disaster? recently i’ve noticed a lot of cayennes for sale in the $7,000 $10,000 range with between 80,000 140,000 miles. these are of course older model years. now some are disasters, however many of them seem in surprisingly good shape with maintenance records.

Porsche's recommended maintenance is a lot stricter than what you may be used to. oil changes are ~300 400, brakes a few grand (and they say to replace rotors with each pad change), tires will be more expensive and the pdk service is a bit over a grand. is it worth it to me? yes absolutely. it's my favorite compact crossover i drove. When porsche went from the super reliable 957 to the new 958 model, they had to meet epa mpg requirements and the gas models received a diet and “less robust” transfer case. the diesel and hybrid models kept the og transfer case. if i wasn’t in cali and subject to the diesel tax here, cayenne diesel would be in the stable no question. Whenever i see porsche cost is high, it is because people just drop it off at a dealer and they charge insane labor rates. doesn't matter the brand, dealers are for warranty work. once you are paying out of pocket, use an independent shop that can be 1 2 of what the dealer is. or even better, do the work yourself, as it is almost all easy and very little on a porsche is special or different.
