Pop Os Does Not Boot After Install R Pop Os I talked to the tech support and said that installing pop on legacy bios won't generate boot efi or a recovery partition. disabled the boot to legacy bios and tried to install pop on uefi bios and it worked!. I took a screenshot of neofetch, posted on my reddit post on r pop os. pop! os is running on the old kernel, but after the last update it can not boot on the last kernel.

When i try to boot from a flash (secure boot disabled, csm option unavailable), i get through the "try pop" screen, then pretty soon after, i get a black screen. Within live environment the os installer opens and advances until i am asked to choose clean or advanced install. choosing any option, including demo, and clicking next causes the installer program to crash. Sometimes i even get a kernel panic error which i don't understand. the troubles seem to have started after doing an update via pop shop and since then, the system does not boot normally anymore. i always have to wait for grub to come up during the second try and then it works. After a successful installation, when i tried to boot, it just booted into an empty grub command line. i figured it was still trying to boot from the old boot partition on the ssd, so being the fool i am i deleted it.
