Hey everyone. something i noticed while watching the pilot: i know word “pomni” doesn’t really have much meaning in english, but if you transcribe it in russian it will be “помни”, which means “remember”. idk if it’s just coincidence or not. any thought?. And pomni's the perfect candidate for that. she's another woman, close to her age and new. so her befriending pomni would be a fresh new start. considering ragatha's arrival to the circus was rough for her, maybe she's embarrassed about how she was at the start and just wanted a new friend who wasn't aware of that baggage. what a troubled woman. Fun fact: according to gooseworx, that lanky frog was apparently pomni's original design. About ragatha and pomni's "friendship" in my headcanon pomni gets scared easily (probably due to past traumas, or even mental problems?), which makes her act impulsively and sometimes, being selfish. if something bad happens she tends to runaway and save herself without thinking.
