Playstation 4 Controller R Trigger Acting Up Windows 10 Forums I've had this controller for about a month now and i still cannot figure out what's causing the r trigger to just suddenly stop working. the usb cable is a month old as well. Reprogram controller triggers to act like buttons? i have a dualshock 4 (ps4) controller and certain older games (and probably some newer ones) simply do not recognize analog inputs when i am trying to set the bindings for a button.

Solution Ps4 Controller Shutting Down Immediately After Pairing R I was having this issue with my ds4 that the r2 trigger kept activating itself spontaneously, i checked the input reading in ds4windows and it did in fact show that the r2 was working on its own. I've tried a brand new usb cable and it still doesn't work. the controller lights up orange for a second and then turns off again. i checked device manager and it doesn't seem that the. I think there's a app out there called ds4 (edit: ds4windows by ryochan) or maybe something else that can be used to make your ds4 controller viewed as an xbox controller. it can also remap all the buttons. but most importantly for you it can also increase the deadzone on the controller. Ps4 controller triggers not working properly so the past couple of days my ps4 controller has been acting up. haven't changed any settings whatsoever. basically, when lightly pressing down either of the triggers it counts as 100% pressed down when hitting around 50%. before that, there is no input.
