Brigette mae’s adoption journey was a moment filled with joy, emotion, and new beginnings. after five years at the house of refuge foundation (horfi), brigette mae was finally entrusted to her adoptive parents, marking the start of her life with a permanent family. Probably after 8 months, life returned to be semi normal for everyone, especially the family here in philippines. despite the rough times that were encountered, it was still clear that i had already begun to love the filipino life and culture.
