Samsung is the only manufacturer still building premium spec'd tablets, and they insist on skinning the interface and installing their own apps for cloud storage, etc.

So a month ago i brought the samsung galaxy tablet, which i love (it got garmin pilot, sporty's e6b and my aircraft's checklist and poh on it), however, i can't seem to find a kneeboard for the tablet. they all seem to be for the ipad only. any samsung galaxy user ever find a kneeboard for. I am considering a samsung tablet but from what i was reading ( up to oct 2021) the android version of garmin pilot is far behind the apple software and not worth running on an adroid. does anyone have recent experience with the current version of garmin pilot android?. I try to avoid apple products for their cheaper alternatives. i run garmin pilot on a samsung tablet and am reasonably happy. like others have said, android updates can cause issues. just this weekend, i could not get gp to overlay an approach on the map. my only option was to pull the chart up in charts.

I've been using foreflight since it's inception, and it's basically the only real app on my phone (i actually use the phone for business and texts primarily but like having foreflight on the phone and taking pictures). my son switched over to a samsung galaxy and i'm pretty impressed with. That tablet broke a while ago and i recently bought a samsung galaxy tab lite a7 tablet. installed a new version of avare that apparently has integrated the i o external plugin functionality into a tab within the app, as opposed to the separate plugin app you needed before. I have a 10.1" samsung tablet and nobody makes mounts specific for them, only ipads. i ended up going with the ram tabtite holder which works awesome, and got a couple different length arms and the claw style clamp for the yoke. I don't necessarily want to do what the subject line says, but it does speak to my question is there a way to run ios on windows or android or to run android on windows? preferably on a tablet or laptop. tia.
