This tire is no longer made and was replaced with michelin pilot road 4. this tire has deep tread sipes for water disbursement and i run the tire in the correct direction, not reversed.

I put a michelin rear reversed on the front of my 08 ultra with a lehman kit. i sold it with just over 22,000 miles on it and it would have easily went another 7 or 8 thousand miles. I have heard that using an auto tire on the front wheel provides greater strength and increased mileage. i have also heard that some trikers put on a motorcycle rear tire on the front but put it on backward. You should put an original size motorcycle tire on the front of your wife's trike. trikes require enough upper body strength as it to turn, (because it don't lean), anything larger is going to make steering heavier.
