Asahi and nishinoya have a 25 cm height difference. in conclusion, the writers definitely thought of asahi and nishinoya's romantic potential, and still went with all the tropes that reinforced it. a majority of these tropes weren't total fanservice either it was all things that could be reflective of a genuine, but discreet relationship. Nishinoya was and arguably still is the best player on the team. i will say that if you include positional value, then kageyama by far is the most valuable player because the setter position is more valuable than the libero. there is a difference between best player and most valuable player. I love nishinoya because he is confident, but never cocky. he belives in himself and also has a complete trust in his teammates, which makes them feel more self confident as well.
