I just downloaded qbittorrent because my downloads were taking forever on utorrent and now my downloading is so much faster on qbittorrent. i researched a bit and people said utorrent is better than qbittorrent and that qbittorrent uses a lot of ram. is this true, and if so, should i just continue using utorrent? (i am on macos monterrey btw).

Yes search for articles here how to use the bind feature in advanced settings and you can also monitor your external ip is the same as the vpn ip by going view log show, select all messages and this will produce a tab in qbittorrent called execution log showing you your external ip. Qbittorrent not downloading at all hello all, i've recently not been able to download anything using qbittorrent 4.0.3 on my ubuntu 18.04.4 lts system. i use private internet access as my preferred vpn client. whether i use the vpn or not, i cannot get any of the torrents to start. Truelooking to add information on super seeder mode to the faq. been finding lots of conflicting information online so wanted to get more updated input. as a result of my research my current conclusion is that super seeder mode should only be used if you know you are the only seeder for a torrent. (for example, if you just created it) seems like it would be detrimental to use any other time. Any time i exit qbittorrent while there is an active torrent downloading, the torrent gets a "missing files" error and the torrent stops downloading. i have not moved or tampered with the folder or files within, and this error persists even if i pause the download first or otherwise attempt to create a non abrupt shutdown of the program.
