Career Mode Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Addons Mods Where is the msfs 2024 community folder?for fs2024, the community and official folders do not exist on your local pc. official is on the cloud. community is now “library” and is on the cloud. hello @msfsrons, this information is incorrect. there is still a community folder on your local pc. the default locations are: steam c:\users [your username]\appdata\roaming\microsoft flight simulator. Create, join, or browse through community made msfs events here. My heart sinks every time i see an update to msfs 2020 appear on the loading screen. after today’s update for msfs 2020, the sim will no longer shut down fully and the task manager is required to fully shut it down. after pressing ‘quit to desktop’, the sim disappears but the msfs icon is left on the taskbar. there is a continuing cpu usage of around 18% until i close it with task manager.

Currently trying to set up msfs 2024 cockpit & exterior views & finding it quite challenging. is there a guide anywhere that covers this? for instance, in msfs 2020 , in cockpit view, i can ‘slide’ the view sideways while looking out the front window at a fixed point, using the keyboard left & right arrows. can’t figure out how to do that in msfs 2024 yet. Does anyone know how to do a complete re install of msfs 2024, including deleting any character profile created? i am pretty sure that this will not simply be a case of selecting uninstall from the store, then re installing it. i would bet that it leaves files around, particularly on the server that “remembers” your identity and progress. i am not bothered about any achievements progress.
