Steve moog’s tip about the voice cards is solid though—makes me wonder if moog just didn’t test these units thoroughly before shipping. for what it’s worth, my prophet 6 has been rock steady since day one, so i’m kinda leaning toward sticking with sequential for now. I downloaded the 'recent' manual from the moog website, and it just states this tuning autocal proceedures are unlocked by holding the outer soft buttons while in the tuning menu procedures misspelled in manual too my question is what is meant by 'outer soft buttons'????? it is not clear to me. thanks. Same here, and it's not limited to the tune knob on my unit which is why i started a thread of my own before finding yours. on mine, it's actually worse on the osc2 freq and osc mod amount knobs. this clearly seems to be a knob calibration issue, so the tuning procedure won't help here. i've created a support ticket with inmusic about this and would encourage anybody experiencing similar. Knob kit unobtanium, close equivalent? by dylanear » fri may 30, 2025 2:14 pm seems the 'moog knob kit for knurled pots' is discontinued, dead and gone and will not ever be made again? part number: res knob kit 01 can anyone confirm there is no intention by moog to ever make these or a replacement again? a tragedy if so!.
