Modeling Tools Ask Gamedev Tv I was thinking about doing my own level boundaries with the modeling tools that come with ue 5 since i played around with them a bit on earlier courses. but for some reason i can’t find them in the dropdown menu where they still show up on other projects. If you ask me, coming back to maya now after using it in high school and then using blender when i couldn't afford the subscription to autodesk, i prefer blender.

Which 3d modeling software do you use to develop your games? i would like to hear from you guys, what is the best software and how long does it take on average to learn how to develop scenarios and well made constructions?. Below is my first attempt at a humanoid demonic face after getting new pc to see if i am capable of making these kinda models, any tips, comments about it, or estimation of my current ability is welcome so i can get a picture of where i am at in this moment. Maybe tools for creating maps too. i found a really cool tool recently named ‘magicavoxel’ (not sure it’s actually open source but amazing none the less) for model creation using cubes (voxel art). Just figured i’d ask the community on how they have decided to texture their models and what they have found works for them. currently i am using blender and am getting more comfy building things.
