This project demonstrates how iot (internet of things) and embedded systems can enhance agricultural practices, making irrigation more efficient and environmentally friendly. To overcome these issues, an iot based smart irrigation system is proposed in this project. the proposed system consists of a network of sensors and actuators that collect data on soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and weather conditions. Three soil types (sandy, clay and loam) has been used in this study. the results seek to demonstrate the effectiveness of the system in managing soil moisture, thereby saving water while increasing yields.
