Alaska even took out the 3rd y lav on a few 800s and decided to put them back in. side note: i see alaska placing an order for 5 to 10 b787s this year. boeing will cut them a deal for being so late on the 10s. as part of the premium retrofits, isn't as also increasing the number of premium economy seats in their 800, 900 and max 9 fleets?.

Alaska airlines has moved some flights to terminal 8 (believe pdx and san currently run from t8, alongside the ha flight to hnl), with terminal 7 still handling sea, sfo, pdx, plus the seasonals. alaska is supposedly consolidating at t8 soon, principally due to the fact that t7 will close once the first phase of t6 is complete, as t7 is to be demolished to make way for the second phase of t6. A long haul livery feels completely unnecessary. other than looking strange, as had the opportunity to put chester on a widebody and display an image that is instantly recognized as ‘alaska airlines’ at airports across the globe. maybe it’ll look good in real world lighting, it sure is a unique way to fade the tail onto the eurowhite.
