I read in another post that someone got it working without running “conda env update”. i am following the setup steps in the lecture and setting it up without the linux fast.ai machine image. please let me know if you have any solutions to get it working on the linux fast.ai machine image.
I Can T Open Jupyter Notebook Part 1 2018 Fast Ai Course Forums As per below, i’m opening my conda environment, selecting fastai and opening jupyter notebook: when trying to run the packages in jupyter, i still get an import error with no module named ‘fastai’. Fast.ai has 124 repositories available. follow their code on github. I have set up a machine on paperspace as per instructions linked on the course page. however, i cannot get the jupyter notebook to open. this is regardless of whether i use the online terminal on paperspace or ssh to the machine using a local terminal window on my mac. I’m having the same problem. weirdly, it worked for me the first time, but since shutting down and then starting back up my paperspace server, i can no longer connect to the jupyter notebook. i can set up the jupyter notebook endpoint with no problems, but can’t connect to it from my local machine.
