Huggingchat Chat Ui Models Discussion Lately, i've encountered many issues with all models when using the web search tool. they all give me the same error message, regardless of whether the search is simple or complex. Bug description when i tried to run the search features in many ai models like deepseek r1 distill 32b or qwq 32b, the model failed to search for the right query.

I turn the feature on and then input my prompt and the chat perpetually shows ellipsis making it look like its searching the web but it never comes back with any results. But for local users, it would be beneficial to fetch search results without using an api. we already parse the dom of the resulting pages to extract the text, so i think it wouldn't be much more work to offer an option to parse the google results page too to extract the links. The product allows users to run and deploy their own chat ui instances with customizable configurations, supporting a variety of language models and features such as web search and custom models.
