Hisd Board Of Managers Approves 2024 2025 School Calendar News Blog High schools take way more from the waitlist than elementary or middle, i've heard people say with the big 5 (carnegie, debakey, hspva, lamar, bellaire) that you are in good shape in the top 40. so many apply to all those schools that when a space opens up at one school you've got a good chance that the person who accepts it will leave another space open at a different school. i haven't heard. Any applications for students who live outside the hisd boundaries will not be considered until phase 3, even if the application was submitted during phase 1." what does hisd boundaries mean in this case? the whole of hisd or just your school zone? if it's the whole hisd then the question on my previous post still stands.
