Fix Importing Large Files Onshape I am experiencing constant import issues with onshape when working with large files. despite using onshape for seven years, i have yet to notice any improvement in this area. i love using onshape, but working with files that are not created in onshape becomes very difficult or impossible. Onshape can't seem to import large assemblies without errors, making most files unusable. i've tried parasolids, step stl and others with the same results. the source of the files is multiple large, well known companies that know what they are doing.

From what i understand this is an error given when you exceed the limits of the workspace, which are quite large. so i'm wondering how i could scale this file down before importing it? thanks!. Use split, delete face, fill, and loft to repair an imported part or fix overlapping geometry. to repair geometry, split the bad geometry and delete those faces.
