Error When Trying To Upload Avatar Help Vrchat Ask Forum Hey i’m getting a sudden error when trying to upload an avatar. i’ve uploaded avatars before without an issue, and even in this same project have uploaded the avatar a couple weeks ago (i want to reupload it to modify some things.). Mainly due to the vrc sdk breaking somehow randomly or by importing something that conflicts with it. know of 2 fixes. 1, open up that unity project within an explorer window and delete the vrc sdk folder and it's .meta file. not within unity itself, within an explorer window. then re import the sdk.
Error When Trying To Upload Avatar Help Vrchat Ask Forum When it fails it gives 2 errors in the console and thats it. one of the errors is it saying its removing the blueprint id from the model due to it failing and the other is this: failed to upload file unityengine.logger…. I've had problems with avatars being harder to upload on quest. did the new unity version fuck this up? it seems even the base premade quest avatars have to have stuff removed to get them to work. I uploaded a yami marik avatar to vrchat and i added a duel disk on his elbow, but i forgot to put it on the elbow. i went back and fixed it, but when i tried uploading him again, it gets stuck on the “processing upload” part. I’m trying to upload a premade avatar. however, when i try to upload it, it gets right to the end of the process, then it just suddenly fails, and spits out a generic “application error” if i try to upload the pc version of the avatar, it works just fine, but the quest version doesn’t seem to work. i have the right platform selected.
