January 2025 Calendar Desktop Wallpaper Entheosweb What is "debian desktop environment"? hello all, i have a question. while installing debian, you get option to install de of your choice. i usually pick my favorite xfce and deselect debian desktop environment. what is it? am i missing something when i deselect it and instal only xfce?. Tldr: air force is making their own virtual desktop with azure, try it by searching azure in the portal. so as a previous post asked about the unforeseeable future of remote desktop. big air force is currently piloting (beta testing) an azure virtual desktop alternative called sonic boom. if you go to the af portal now, you can search azure and the first link is for the cloud virtual desktop. If someone can't figure out a desktop icon yea it's too complex for them lmao i didn't mean everyone. just someone who literally can't figure out the basics this coming from someone who's been building pcs for 20 years, been in the industry professionally for 12 now, and have been a fully certed microsoft service professional for 8 of those now. Virtual desktop is the top choice for high quality quest 3 streaming right now. steam link is garbage because of the foveated encoding it uses. air link is fine for the quest 2 yet isn't updated for the q3 so it can't do 120hz and doesn't have as high a render resolution setting as godlike in vd.
