Derived Part Automatic Update Autodesk Community The work around to this issue is to select the derived component, select "edit", click ok in the popping up db. after that the derived component gets updated. it doesn't happen all of the time (not getting updated after the source file is edited) but it does happen frequently enough to get noted. Derived parts not auto updating when changes are made to base again 2025. over the years this one has cropped its head up in different versions and then ends up getting an update to fix.
