Cucm Sip Reject Bad Request Sip Syntax Error Cisco Community Sip 2.0 400 bad request i did open a ticket with the firewall vendor and they say the 2801 is trying to send the public ip and not the ip address that is on the 2801. I am trying to register it to cisco cucm 9.1, but the status of the phone is shown as rejected in cucm. i have added other similar phone models they are working fine, but don't know what is the issue with this phone.

I seem to be having an issue with inbound calls from my sip itsp (voip.ms). calls are reaching my voice gateway (cme version 8.6) are failing with an error sip 2.0 400 bad request 'invalid host'. When i do a "debug ccsip messages" i can see that i am receiving a 401 error message from cucm back to the cube thus. any ideas as its driving me crazy. i thought the authorization was between the cube and itsp not back to the cucm. cucm doesn't even ask for any authentication credentials. It looks like there was a bug filed for this in cucm cscsu56892. cucm and ios share the same sip stack source code so most likely they fixed this in ios as well.

Now ip phones registered with cucm when dial outside using the above mentioned dial peer, call connects (as it shows on cdr logs on sip gsm gateway) but problem is that both part cant listen to each other.
