More Control Over C4d Dynamic Settings The Pixel Lab I have a flat rectangular cube (dynamic body) falling onto a plane (collider body), but there are a few frames where the corners of the cube sink through the plane. it resolves correctly, but obviously no part of the cube should pass through the plane. then, when i set the initial velocity of the cube of the cube to 10m, it passes right through the plane. then i changed some of the bounce and. Just wondering if anyone has come across this problem. we’ve made a magazine page turn animation and there’s textures for the cover and inside pages (used a stick texture on a flat plane). the problem is that the viewport is not showing the different page textures but it’s perfectly fine in a preview or render. is there a preference to allow us to see the textures as we work? our enhance.

Thanks a lot for the info, i had similar issues although not a mac system. i was able to find the recovered files as u stated above, but the problem still persist as my c4d work keeps crashing over and over again when working on a project and it gets really annoying. i was advised to update my graphic card driver in my system and that miraculously solved the problem. i hope someone else finds. Hello marius i did cook up some steps to achieving that for you 1. open the timeline window in cinema 4d. 2. set the timeline start to a negative value equal to the number of pre roll frames you want to add. 3. move the playhead to the first frame of the added negative frames. 4. create your animation in the material editor using displacement and noise. 5. add keyframes to your animation. Is there a way to reset the rotational controls in c4d? i’ve done something which seems to have effected the horizontal rotation somewhat. hard to explain exactly how it has changed, but it feels as if the rotation is now ‘curvy’ rather than smooth (if that’s even a thing). before, when i rotated the view, i would be able to rotate around an object fairly horizontally without having.

Hello again, sorry for asking so much, and always very grateful, today the question is, i have the same 3d object in two mesh qualities, one with many polygons and the other in very low polygons, so i want to transfer the texture from the high poly to the low poly mesh… i can do it in zbrush, but it does a terrible job, it’s useless, so i wanted to know if it can be done within cinema4d. I am a cinema 4d beginner. i came from after effects and in ae when our disk starts to get filled up, we have to go to preferences and empty our disk cache. but in contrast to ae, i couldn’t find any “empty disk cache” kind of button in cinema 4d’s preferences. how do we delete the accumulated cache of cinema 4d? where does it cache by default? sorry if i am missing something obvious. Hello, i know rendering c4d hair object with redshift is very easy and straightforward. when using the fur it’s not showing up in redshift render view. redshift tag doesn’t even have the curve tab available for fur. i couldn’t find anything about this topic anywhere, every tutorial out there is how to render hair not fur. the reason i’m using fur and not hair is the option to use. Hello. i was wondering if anyone knows how to convert a polygon to a spline object? i’m using cinema4d 11.5 my problem is that i imported splines from illu to make a shape but converted one of them into a polygon object (the polygon i accidently made says the previous spline name, but the symbol has converted and it has a dropdown menu with 2 caps and a rounding contained inside) now i want.
