Cannot Curve Edges When Combining Shapes On Adobe Adobe Community Unfortunately, i cannot curve the edges of the divet. i can do it for the original corners of the rectangle, but not the ones created from combining the shapes. When i try to merge them, the line in the middle either becomes doubled (as shown in image 2) or creates ugly triangles, as shown in the above screenshots. i want the shape to be perfect with no triangles when merged.
Shapes Adobe Community 14014031 I am trying to intersect two lines drawn using the curvature tool. i cannot seem to finish the last segment on my line to land on the other line. see picture. The two shapes are touching, but do not overlap, and they have no stroke applied. when trying any of these methods, it keeps the shapes in tact (but essentially grouping them), so that when i add a stroke to what should be the new one shape, it does it around each one!. Create a shape with ronded edges first as edges cannot be manipulated once shifted. either from a premade rounded shape or a hard corner shape then manally edged. Having this issue in illustrator where i'm trying to use the shape builder tool to combine shapes and it will combine them, but doesn't show it as a shape. it's occurring in multiple locations. please help! it's driving me crazy!. You could try converting the green curve you're trying to go over into a fill and recolor it to what you need after. just select the strokes you want to convert and go to modify shape convert lines to fills. The two shapes are simple, and don't have as many points as the result. so when i go to merge them in pathfinder, it results in multiple new points around the curved edges instead of bezier curves.
