Canbus Box With Android Head Unit Issue Xoutpost It is an ekiy t7 radio with 8gig ram running android 10. it came with a canbus box for the steering wheel controls. when i plug the canbus box it works fine but whenever i turn the car off and come back the canbus box isn't working. the steering wheel controls don't function. Can bus boxes are supplied with custom fit android headunits, providing electronic integration between the car and headunit. the canbus box can fail and cause faults like not switching on the headunit.

The can bus box should have the correct connectors for the vehicle you purchased the android headunit for. this means you can plug and play without knowing which car wire needs to be connected to which pin on the can bus box. Did it work before the android was installed? the lines for the camera are often generated by the headunit so you may have not connection to the camera at all. you could try a standard camera if the headunit has the right connection.
