Arduino Leonardo Broken Port Ide 1 X Arduino Forum
Arduino Leonardo Broken Port Ide 1 X Arduino Forum So if you have an arduino with a broken usb port or can't use the normal usb port for other reason, read this instructable and i'll show you how to save your arduino. A broken usb port does not need to spell the end of your arduino uno nano as there is an easy workaround (or two).
Arduino Mega2560 Pro Broken Usb Port 3rd Party Boards Arduino Forum
Arduino Mega2560 Pro Broken Usb Port 3rd Party Boards Arduino Forum Unlike boards with an external usb ttl converter (like the uno or nano), the pro micro cannot be programmed through tx rx pins with a usb ttl adapter. it requires its micro usb port for. Program any arduino board when usb chip breaks corrupts the easy way!! after accidentally somehow back feeding power from my triple wide breadboard powered by an old atx power supply, my 2012 arduino mega2560adk could no longer be programmed. So i have got a eleven (arduino uno copy) micro controller, and during the programming it, i got excited to test the new algorithm, but forgot to pull out the usb cord. If you don't do that, chances are you would have "electrocuted your arduino to death" with your high voltage 10v when you connected that. perhaps have a look at the documentation for your h bridge and or provide a link to the exact module that you have.

In that case, your only real hope is to either find where the other ends of those traces go, and solder the wires from a usb cable on there, or scrape some of the solder mask away from where the pads were, and try to solder with that. That is repairable, but with extreme difficulty, since you ripped the pads off. i've repaired a similarly damaged connector basically, you get a usb cable, cut the end off, and solder the wires to the appropriate little scraps of copper. you'll probably need to scrap off some solder mask. Remove the broken pins with the solder wick, glue the usb connector back to the same place on the board. wait for the glue to cure, solder the five pins back to the board.
