Blender Animated Model Export Problem Animation And Rigging Blender I’m using blender to create low poly animated models. due to some limitations of my companion software tool, i have to export the model frame by frame to produce a 3d animation. I have a rabbit that goes wrong when exporting fbx or gltb. it looks fine in blender but very wrong during exporting with animations. anyone knows why and how to fix it?.

Blender Rigging Problem Animation And Rigging Blender Artists Community I brought it into blender and fixed the textures, but when i try to export it, it takes upwards of 5 minutes to export, and in other software, the animation is over 5,000 frames long, and none of the body parts move correctly; the entire mesh just swivels and rotates all over the workspace. The game rig tools tutorial videos give a run down of the problem. in a nut shell rigify does not play well with fbx exporting due to the way it uses parenting in building the rigify rig. After tweaking the weights and all that, the result works beautifully within blender. the problem that im having is that after i export the model to fbx format, then import the model into unity 3d, the animation scrunches up and distorts the mesh, as you can see in the attached screenshot. When i test it in blender by pressing alt a, it works perfectly fine. however, when i export it as a .glb using the khronosgroup gltf exporter, the resulting animation is distorted (e.g., limbs are disconnected and moving in a weird way). why is this happening (and how can i fix it)?.

I received a rig from someone. i made animations on top of it. then converted it into a deformation rig. i have rigged a lot of characters before but have no idea what is causing the problem here. My issue is that even though the animation in blender works and looks as intended, during the export, the fbx skeleton is wrong and the animation (s) is distorted in unity. I think that you need an addon like "autorig pro" to do that. it's optimized to import bone animations from other sources and export to game engines. I've been trying to work on a bow and arrow and get it working inside unity. i don't have much experience with animations, but i've successfully got my characters to run, walk, idle, attack, get hit, mine rocks, cut trees etc. today i finished rigging my bow and got it all animated.
