Aws Cdk Aws Logs Resource Handler Returned Message Invalid Request

Resource Handler Returned Message Invalid Request Provided Aws What is the problem? i am trying to create a custom log group for my codebuild project as follows (sample code):. To do this, in my log archive account, i am using cloudformation to create a log group called cloudtraillogs, and a cloudtrail trail that delivers cloudtrail log events to this log group.
Resource Handler Returned Message Ecs Deployment Circuit Breaker Was We have a helper method in our cdk library (based on amazon.cdk.lib 2.28.1) to establish a codepipeline notification rule to sns topic that delivers events to a microsoft teams channel via lambda function. When creating an accountpolicy via cdk, i get back a request error. testing the stack with cdk synth no errors are returned. select this option if this issue appears to be a regression. to pick up a draggable item, press the space bar. while dragging, use the arrow keys to move the item. Finally to successfully troubleshoot cloudformation deployments, you can use cloudtrail logs [3]. from there you can identify what was the api call triggered by cloudformation and what was the bad input. What did you expect to happen? i expect that log group would be created with the parameters i specified.

The cloudformation resource handler for aws::logs::accountpolicy should propagate the specific error message (like invalidparameterexception) received from the cloudwatch logs api upwards, rather than returning a generic invalidrequest error. This is really all quite confusing and aws should probably fix cloudfront logging to work with a proper bucket policy and no acls. apparently this confusing behavior started in april 2023. This introduced a bug where the logging resource policy became too large because of the name of the log group. this could break the deploys of existing applications that contained this custom resource. When creating a metric filter pattern to match log events containing "error" and a specific pattern value, you need to use the appropriate syntax that cloudwatch logs supports. the filter pattern syntax in cloudwatch logs is quite specific and doesn't directly support complex regular expressions.
