Welcome To Surplus Energy Equipment Surplus Energy Equipment Has anyone used the aim surplus glock slide with the rmr cut? i bought one, fit and finish look great…but i noticed that the slide doesn’t have the posts milled into the top to fully support the rmr against recoil… and the cut out in the slide is loose, meaning that only the bolts are holding the sight in place. any issues with this set up? thanks! aod. Aim surplus is legit. got a whole bunch of bits and bobs and mags from them in the last couple years. last week, i got an email from aim saying they had some bcm uppers in stock. ordered a 16" lw mcmr 13 bfh late friday evening. upper shipped from ohio on monday morning, and came in to me in florida yesterday. I purchased 2 of the surplus sb models myself one with the bruniton finish the other blued. from what i understand the italian government returned these pistols back into beretta for credit on new pistols. these pistols were originally blued then serviced through beretta including refinishing any worn blued guns with bruniton finish then sent out for import. my slide on each is marked 86 and. There are barrels like surplus hk21 machinegun barrels where i am not aware of any approved for import "sporterized" firearm that used hk21 barrels that would then make the hk21 barrel "dual use" and qualify for this exemption.
