Annotative Scaling Not Scaling Autodesk Community
Annotative Scaling Not Scaling Autodesk Community I have a block that annotative. its a column bubble for grid lines in a building. the bubble and text scale to the viewport, but the grid line is a constant length. if i stretch it in my 1 8" viewport, then in my 1 16" its twice too long. how do i get it to scale right?. Non annotative objects, require a fixed size or scale that is calculated based on the scale used to plot the drawing. annotative objects automatically adjust to display uniformly at the same size or scale regardless of the scale of the view.

Annotative Scaling Not Scaling Autodesk Community Check the annotation scale tool at the bottom right of your screen. it is always displayed when in model space but in paper space it is only displayed if you select the viewport. The size of the fitting annotation scales with the size of the pipe, whether "use annotative scaling" is checked, or not. when "use annotative scaling" is checked in the family, the tick marks indicating the beginning and end of the fitting are just gaps. If the annotative property of an annotation object is enabled, the text height or scale of the annotation object adjusts based on the current drawing annotation or layout viewport scale with the result that it will remain at the same size automatically. I need to change the annotative labels on some buildings that are too small, but i cannot change the size in the layout view. i can select different scales in model (1:100, 1:60, etc) and make the labels larger smaller, but i cannot modify how they are displayed in the layout tab view.

Autocad shows the below error message when plotting or printing from model space. 'the annotation scale is not equal to the plot scale. do you want to continue?' the annotation scale is not equal to the plot scale. create a setup according to the model space or paper space you want to plot. After some experimentation, i have found that there appears to be no method to scale the annotative text that is part of a block definition when inserting the block using the autocad dwg writer. Issue: multiple annotative scales show properly in the model space, but in paperspace they show differently even when set to the same scale in autocad products. Unlock the viewport. set the annotative scale to 1:1. now set it back to what you want. it should work if those objects are annotative. relock your viewport.
