1975 Holden Torana Simon75torana Shannons Club Part three of my movie guns thread. this one centers around the tom selleck movie, crossfire trail. what i like about the guns in this movie are how unique they are. here is a picture of rafe’s combination and my attempt to replicate it. the rifle, unfortunately, is a 73 in my picture since i sti. The remington keen was definately an interesting choice of rifle in crossfire trail but i thought the 1876 winchester centennial carbine in 45 60 that rafe bought carried was by far the sexiest.
1975 Holden Torana Bradj Shannons Club Just came back from the engraver and i thought i’d share. wanted to do my centennial like charles rodney’s rifle used by tom sellek in crossfire trail, one of my favorite westerns ever. so this is the movie gun. i found the correct font online and this is mine now, had the engraver do one of my c. Semi famous around these parts for making leather for the movie crossfire trail. anyway this is a really nice shotshell belt he made for my dad. holds 10 12 ga. shells 5 45 70 ad 5 45 colt. nice heavy leather. 37 inches long to the first and 44 to the last hole. $120 shipping 3. m. shellhart double strong side rig. I looked for a long tim until i found my cimarron "crossfire trail" . it is in 45 75 winchester however and ammo has all but dryed up. i would for sure get 45 60. Several points: 1. if he passed away on february 18, 2022, then why the delay in making the announcement? 2. his role as beau dorn was in the movie. Several points: 1. if he passed away on february 18, 2022, then why the delay in making the announcement? 2. his role as beau dorn was in the movie. Well i missed by 10 years and came home with a centennial 1876 in 45 60. hell, i figured i already owned the right hat for it. just found a local place that is highly recommended for laser engraving so i’m getting my initial done like charles rodney’s gun in crossfire trail. one of my favorite westerns ever.
